The Rhythm Lab Drum Club

WHAT IS THE RHYTHM LAB DRUM CLUB

Its part drum circle, part jam session: The Rhythm Lab is a friendly, no experience necessary, drum only, hang out that explores and re-creates the music from global drumming traditions such as those found in Africa, Cuba, Brazil, Japan and the Caribbean.

It’s the chance for ANYONE and EVERYONE regardless of age, gender and experience or skill level to play some drums, make new friends and have fun!!!

The goal of “The Rhythm Lab” is to provide the community with an easily accessible resource for the development of creative expression and personal growth through drumming. This goal is achieved by providing a comprehensive learning facility with highly qualified staff and individually constructed study plans in an environment that embraces technology, while respecting the traditions of our past.

“The Rhythm Lab” creates an open learning environment, embracing students from diverse backgrounds and cultures and serves as a centre for the promotion and development of inter-cultural awareness, harmony and respect through the study of music.
